Time flies - it is hard to believe that it was April when Kim Min Soo died, and that nearly five months have passed. Before disbanding, Monday Kiz has one last release to end their short but wonderful three years in the music industry. Recollection contains four CDs and a DVD, including six never-before-released songs.

By the way, the site will be back on normal rotation schedule soon.

04. 그 노래 (This Song)
05. 슬픈 인연 (Special Track) (Sad Fate)
06. Epilogue (Special Track - 김민수 Kim Min Soo)
I'm not a huge ballad fan, but I love every single song by this duo. Their voices are just so perfect, and while admittedly their sound tends to get stale after a while, I never completely tire of them. Kim Min Soo's death was such a shock to me. I wasn't expecting another release from them, not to mention six new songs. It's a bit eerie to hear Min Soo's voice again, and to think that he's gone. I'll admit that I'm probably a bit biased to these songs, and probably to the duo in general, but I absolutely adore them. Never Say Goodbye is bittersweet at first, and absolutely beautiful once it builds. A soft flute melody makes appearances throughout the song. As always, the vocal work is flawless and emotional. The harmonizing in the chorus is wonderful. 뒷걸음 is slightly more upbeat, a perfect blend of ballad and poppy bass beats. 미안해, 고마워, 사랑해 is the classic ballad - string accompaniment, soft drum accompaniment, muffled bass. From any other group I would have dismissed it as generic and unoriginal, but their powerful yet delicate vocals make this song. Their voices are noticeably softer in 그 노래, which has a more toned down, relaxed feel. 슬픈 인연 sounds almost unfinished but is rawly beautiful. Extremely emotional and powerful. Epilogue is such a beautiful song. Min Soo's voice is hauntingly real. Sometimes deep, sometimes sweet, his vocals are just amazing. A fitting end to Monday Kiz's legacy, Recollection is definitely a must-download if you're a ballad fan.
