Sorry the next rotation's running late.

I'm planning to get it up by Wednesday. In the meantime, here's H-Eugene's latest mini-album.

H-Eugene - Fantasy Partner
Korean | Pop/Hip-Hop
01.환상의 짝꿍 (Baby I Love You) (feat. Ye Eun of Wonder Girls) (Hwansangye Jjaggung)
02. 그댄 내 가슴에 (feat. Danny of 1TYM) (Keudaen Nae Kaseume)
03. 낙원 (feat. Park Jung Ah of Jewelry) (Nagweon)
04. 환상의 짝꿍 (Baby I Love You) (Instrumental) (Hwansangye Jjaggung)
05. 그댄 내 가슴에 (Instrumental) (Keudaen Nae Kaseume)
I'm sure the feature artists on this album are going to garner some attention - Wonder Girls, Jewelry, and the return of 1TYM's Danny, too. This mini-album follows the current electronica trend, shown as soon as the album kicks off with 환상의 짝꿍 (Hwansangye Jjaggung). I found it mediocre. Poppy and upbeat, it starts out strong but quickly gets repetitive. 그댄 내 가슴에 (Keudaen Nae Kaseume) is very reminiscent of Big Bang's Haru Haru. The rap verses have almost the same feel as TOP's rapping, the piano arrangement is extremely similar to Haru Haru's. Certain melodies are actually identical. While I was excited to see Danny featured in this song, it put me off how much it sounds like a slightly stale version of Haru Haru. 낙원 (Nagweon) was a pleasant surprise. Although it does have that kind of generic feel of hip-pop songs, it's sweet, featuring melodic rap verses and a nice beat. Overall, Fantasy Partner (where did they get that name from, anyways? O_o) wasn't amazing. Considering the all-star feature artists, I was expecting better. Keudaen Nae Kaseume's striking similarities to Haru Haru are also a little suspicious, to say the least.
