Review:
I really like this duo, and was really excited to see that they had released a new single since it's been a while since I heard anything new from them. On the right differs from their regular pop-rock style - a relaxed song with bright, ambient synths. It's incredibly cute, and Yuka's sweet voice, backed by synthesized harmonies, suits the atmosphere perfectly. ハレルヤ opens with an ethereal, light, ballad-type intro, leading into a stong pop-rock verse. I really like every aspect of the song except the chorus which is seems a bit too strange and echoey to me. Philia (English Version) is a stunning rock ballad. The opening is incredibly genuine and heartfelt, leading into the stronger, more powerful chorus. Yuka's English is nearly flawless, she might have a bit of an accent but that only contributes to the distinctiveness of her voice. A strong single.
