Sorry for my long absence, I was away on vacation for a few weeks in Taiwan and I haven't felt very inspired to make any mixtapes/rotations lately. Anyways, here's a personal mixtape I made, I guess the songs are directed to a person/various people in my life, mostly centred around love/relationships. Hope you enjoy, I'll try to update more frequently in the future! Also, Mediafire wasn't working for me so I used 4shared this time - hope that works for most of you. If you want any songs uploaded individually, feel free to drop me a comment. Also thanks to everyone who left comments on my previous rotation(s), I love reading them. :) - Haruhi ![]() 01. Hologram - Katie Herzig You know you're just like me A mystery with nothing more to see 02. Awake My Soul - Mumford & Sons Lend me your hand and we'll conquer them all But lend me your heart and I'll just let you fall Lend me your eyes I can change what you see But your soul you must keep totally free [download .zip] A mixture of indie/pop, all in English. I would list some of my favourites but that's about half the mixtape, haha. I've had Hologram on repeat for the past few days, along with A Girl A Boy And A Graveyard. You can never go wrong with Glen Hansard, Damien Rice (9 Crimes is absolutely beautiful), Mumford & Sons, and The Hush Sound. Surprisingly I really liked Taylor Swift's acoustic version of Haunted, I'm not a big fan of her but I think it's a good fit in this mix. I know this mixtape doesn't really have a concrete "theme" and probably won't seem coherent to anyone but me, but I hope that you find something you can relate to and if not, it's still good music. :) Let me know what you think if you're taking, I love hearing your feedback! I tried to pick songs that represent his inner conflict, and I think the result is a mixtape that sums up how I see him: a flawed character who is entangled in events out of his depth. It's a general mix but mostly focused on the events in Half-Blood Prince, I suppose, because I think that's where we see the greatest change and inner struggle in Draco. Genre-wise, a lot of Draco-themed mixes I see are metal-centered, and I have to say I've never really understood that, so this mix is a lot softer in comparison. I think the two instrumental songs by The Section Quartet are indescribably perfect for Draco, the others were chosen for a mixture of lyrics and overall feel.
