Thanks to Sara who pointed out a mistake in one of my previous rotations (rotation 23), the link to Fahrenheit's 恆星 lead to a different song. I've fixed it in the rotation but here it is again. 恆星/Heng Xing/Shining Star - Fahrenheit Please do let me know if any links are broken or lead to the wrong file! I've also added tags to some previous rotations that, for whatever reason, were untagged. Just so that this post isn't completely useless, here's a couple songs: 給。愛人 - Jam Hsiao (蕭敬騰) So this guy is way underappreciated, and I seem to remember the last time I uploaded one of his songs it was well received. I think this is his latest single, although I could be wrong. I have to say this wasn't really one of my favourite songs by him, but it's all right. 사랑해.. 그래서 미안해 (feat. Suho) - Kim Dong Hee (I Love You ... So I'm Sorry) 이번만은 (feat. Noblesse) - Kim Dong Hee (Only This Time) This is Kim Dong Hee's Love in Winter single. A precaution: the translations of the title could be wrong, I'm going from my own shaky understanding of Korean. Please correct me if they are. I'm not a big fan of female vocalists (I've probably said this before), but I really like Kim Dong Hee's voice. Both fairly typical songs - the first (with SuHo) poppy, the second (with Noblesse) a ballad - but worth a listen. Please remember to comment or even leave a rating if you're downloading anything. ^_^ Labels: Fahrenheit, Jam Hsiao, Kim Dong Hee rotation 23 [artist feature & recent releases]

This week's rotation is partially an artist feature and partially focusing on recent releases. I'm hoping to get a new layout up in the next couple days too, but school starts tomorrow for me so I'm not sure how much time I'll have. Happy belated New Year's to everyone too! By the way, I apologize for the really crappy commenting this week. T_T Lately I've been a little preoccupied & haven't had much time to work on rotations; I haven't really felt as motivated to update the site. As always, please remember to comment. -Haruhi - ARTIST FEATURE - ![]() Yorico - Negau Japanese | Pop Yume no Kajitsu Kokoro no Kagi TELL ME THE TRUTH I had this album on my computer for quite a while, but only recently got to listening to it. I'm not a big fan of female singers, but Yorico's voice is wonderful. Yume no Kajitsu is strong without being overpowering. Although it is definitely poppy, it's melancholic. Kokoro no Kagi is a little more upbeat and hopeful. I love the piano & string accompaniment. TELL ME THE TRUTH also has an upbeat tone. Yorico's voice is thick and rich. ![]() Khalil Fong - Orange Moon Mandarin | R&B/Pop Singalongsong ![]() 小小蟲 (Small Insect) 1234567 ![]() 100種表情 (100 Kinds of Expression ![]() Singalongsong is actually entirely in English. I loved it. The lyrics are sweet if fairly simple, and Khalil Fong's voice is amazing. It blends elements of pop and R&B perfectly. 小小蟲 contrasts an active drum beat with a laid-back arrangement. It's relaxing, but not too bland either. 1234567 is another favourite of mine off this album. It's livelier than the previous two tracks. 100種表情 is another favourite of mine. It's mellow but catchy. - RECENT RELEASES - ![]() Fahrenheit - Love You More And More Mandarin | Pop 恆星 (Shining Star) Touch Your Heart Fahrenheit comes back with their third album. I have to admit I don't like their music much, but their vocals have improved noticeably in this album. 恆星 reflects this improvement - it takes a more serious tone than most of Fahrenheit's songs. The rap verses remind me of Shinhwa for some reason. O_o The rock-influenced Touch Your Heart is a bonus song that was only on the Hong Kong version of this album. An English verison (not sure whether this version was also by Fahrenheit) was used in a commercial promoting tourism in Taiwan. Which will explain the lyrics - Taiwan will touch your heart, etc. ![]() Wang Lee Hom - HEART BEAT Mandarin | Pop 心跳 (Heart Beat) 春雨里洗过的太阳 (Spring Rain Washed Over The Sun) ![]() EVERYTHING I initially thought 心跳 would be upbeat, seeing as it's the title track, but it's actually downtempo. I liked it, but found it a bit generic, although the chorus did get stuck in my head for a while. 春雨里洗过的太阳 on the other hand, was probably my favourite song on this album. Lee Hom's voice is sweet and melodic. There's also a snippet of the lyrics that's in English: If you listen to the rhythm of the pouring rain that is just so beautiful. It's not a song that stood out to me right away, but it grows on you. EVERYTHING is a fairly typical ballad but, as usual, Lee Hom's voice makes it stand out. I thought this was a pretty solid album, but not outstanding. Labels: Fahrenheit, Khalil Fong, Wang Lee Hom, Yorico Hello! I'm the new cohost, Chayenne. Nice to meet you! My comments aren't the best ever, but I hope you'll like my uploads. So Nyeo Shi Dae – 햅틱모션 (Haptic Motion) Language: Korean Genre: Pop Rating: Comments: This song is made for the Samsung Haptic Motion CF’s featuring So Nyeo Shi Dae and Dong Bang Shin Ki. This is the song you hear all the time. It’s really addictive and the CF as well! Too bad the song is only 1:29 minutes long. You should watch it if you haven’t seen it yet; it’s cute! KAT-TUN - Don't U Ever Stop Language: Japanese Genre: Rock Rating: Comments: It’s really good and it’s got a nice beat! I don't like all the KAT-TUN songs, but this one's just NewS – Summertime Single 1 Summer Time 2 Easy come, easy go 3 Liar 4 Baby! Be my baby Language: Japanese Genre: Pop Rating: Comments: I liked all the songs very much, so I decided to upload the whole single. The first two and the last song really gave me a summer feeling, and I couldn’t stop listening to them. Even though NewS members aren’t the best singers (except for Tegoshi! I love his voice), their voices are nice together and I find their songs always very addictive. Ayaka – Okaeri Language: Japanese Genre: pop Rating: Comments: Her vocals are perfect, as always. It's such a beautiful song- Download and listen yourself! Son Dam Bi – Bad Boy Language: Korean Genre: Pop Rating: Comments: I’ve never heard her before, but after listening to her first mini-album, I fell in love with this song. It’s really catchy and her voice is quite good. I just kept repeating this song, so beware! You should listen to her other songs too. Fahrenheit – Stay With You Language: Japanese Genre: Pop Rating: Comments: This song is for Fahrenheits’ Japanese single. I don’t really like this song. It’s not that interesting and their voices sound a bit off key sometimes. Oh, you can find my playlist at my blog. It's not finished yet, but you can find some stuff already. Feel free to request ^^ Labels: Ayaka, Fahrenheit, KAT-TUN, NewS, So Nyeo Shi Dae, Son Dam Bi |
